Events

Port Adelaide is a fascinating place to visit.

As a once thriving port and gateway to Adelaide, the area is rich in history and this is captured in the famous Maritime Museum, one of five in the area, and other heritage sites.

The Port River and nearby beaches are popular recreation areas, with extensive facilities for sailing and powerboats, and for those who enjoy walking or riding, promenades and pathways offer an extensive network to explore the area's many attractions.

There is also a thriving artistic community, with the work of resident artists contributing to exhibitions and events that capture Port Adelaide's distinctive character. Attractions abound and both visitors and locals can enjoy a broad selection of pubs and an ever-increasing number of cafes and restaurants.
